Milestones are checkpoints in a course that help educators, students, and employers keep track of students' progress. They are set by educators when creating their course and can be edited at any time. Students can also create their own milestones to keep track of their team’s progress.

Students submit milestones to notify their educator and employer of their progress. Employers can see how students are progressing on a project by viewing their milestone submissions.

  • Educators can track the progress of multiple students or student teams in one place by asking students to submit milestones, all while keeping employers updated.

  • Students can prevent scope creep by sticking to the milestones outlined by their educator.

  • If students are lagging behind on completing milestones, they are sent an automatic email reminder.

  • Completing all milestones enables students to receive feedback and recommendations from their employer to showcase during their future job searches.
