Sign up to Riipen with an employer account at

Go through the step-by-step sign-up process to create a profile for your company, or find your company if it already has a profile on Riipen. You will also set up a personal account under your own email. You should select employer as your user type.

Once you’ve created your account and company profile, your next step is to Create a Project. You’ll see this option in your dashboard. Access your dashboard at any time by clicking on your profile image in the top right-hand corner.
Tip: You’ll need to verify your email before you can publish your project. Check your junk or spam folders if you don’t see the confirmation email in your inbox.

You can create a project from scratch or choose one from our template library.

If you choose from our Template Library, you will be able to search areas of interest. Once you've selected a template, you will need to click “Create with Template” in the top right-hand corner.

Add a descriptive title, and summarize the work you want a student (or multiple students) to complete. Make sure the expected outcomes for your business are clear to students, and that they can get a sense of the scope of work from your description. Given the short, remote nature of Level UP, we require a project-based experience. Make sure to provide a concrete scope for the student’s work and limit their work to a single project.

Projects should provide 80 hours of work per student participating. Currently, there are no limitations to the number of projects an employer can submit, and the number of students they can take on, and are required to provide a minimum of five hours of mentorship to each student.

Continue through the steps in the wizard. If you save your project as a draft, you can return to your project at any time to make edits.

A few things to note:

When you’ve gone through the wizard and hit “Publish” on the last step, your project is now live in the Riipen marketplace.

To submit your project to the Level UP program, please click on this link.

Click “Submit Project” in the top right corner to submit your project to the Level UP team for review. Write a brief introduction to our team to kick off the conversation.

That’s it! You’ll be notified by email and in the platform when your request has been reviewed by our team. You can view the status of your request any time by clicking the “Messages” icon in the top navigation bar, or by checking the "Requests" tab.

Note: If you do not want your project to be considered for any other opportunity outside of Level UP, you will want to go to the Settings tab of the project page, and change your project from "Open" to "Closed" after you submit your project.

When your project is approved by us, you’ll receive an email from Riipen alerting you. This email will provide a link to allow you to set your preferred dates for the project completion and any milestones. We recommend leaving the dates blank for now and filling them in after you've approved and a student and discussed the timeline.

Students will then be apply directly to your project. You will be alerted by email about new applications, and can view these under the Matches tab as well by clicking on the number under the Applications column.

If you'd like to submit an additional project, you are welcome to do so. Currently, there are no limitations to the amount of projects an employer can submit.
