Team settings for an experience allows you to configure such items as what sorts of limits are placed on team volumes, how teams are created, and how those teams ultimately make a final submission on their project.
As an experience administrator, you can access your experience’s team creation settings by going to the settings tab of your experience page, then selecting the "Teams" tab in the "Project Management" group.
Team limits
Teams per matched project maximum
Set an optional limit on the number of teams that can be added to a single match. If a limit is set, once it's reached, no further teams can be formed for the match whether by the educator, learner or employer.Learners per matched project maximum
Set an option limit on the number of unique learners that can be added to a single match. If a limit is set, once it's reached or if a new team would cause the limit to be exceeded, no further teams can be formed for the match whether by the educator, learner or employer.Unique learners per matched project
By default this box is checked. This setting prevents learners from being added to a match in multiple teams.
Team creation
How will learners be assigned to matched projects?
Experience assign learners. If this option is selected, educators will be able to create teams via the team creation wizard. Learners cannot start projects without first being added to a team by an educator.
Learners self-assign. If this option is selected, learners will be able to start any project they choose by going to the match page and clicking the ‘Start project’ button. The educator can still form teams themselves as well.
Learners apply and employers accept or decline their applications. If this option is selected, learners will see an ‘Apply’ button on the matched projects where they can apply to the project. Project administrators will review these applications then choose to accept or decline. If this option is selected, the educator cannot create teams manually.
