Projects are created by employers seeking to collaborate with learners on real problems or areas of opportunity for their company. Once a project is created and published, it can then be matched with experiences which are educator facilitated opportunities looking to match with specific types of projects. Once a match has been made, learners are brought into the experience to complete your project.

General
Project creation
Projects can be generated from your goal / objectives, created from scratch, or created from a template. Project are comprised of several key pieces of information including:
Details - your projects name, description, goals you want to achieve and tasks learners will need to complete to achieve the objectives.
Tags & meta data - categories your projects is in, skills learners will need or develop while completing it, and more.
Learners & experiences - the types of learners and experiences you think will be best suited to completing your project including where they are located, whether the project should be apart of their academic credit or an external paid opportunity, what sort of support you can offer, and more.
Generated projects
Employers can easily generated draft projects by entering a 'Project goal' when creating a new project. Below are some examples of goals which can be used to generate great projects:
Build a competitive landscape for my company and provide an analysis of the competitors.
Create a social media campaign strategy for my company.
Create a market expansion report for our company and products.
Conduct user testing on our company's new product and provide an analysis of the results.
Review and audit our privacy policy against industry standards and best practices.
Upon submission, your goal will be translated into a full project. This process considers your goal, information about your company, and best practices for projects for learners.

Clarity of description - the clarity of the project's objective and expected tasks.
Mentorship and support - the level of support offered to learners.
These criteria are combined to also provide a total score.

Best practices
The project scope should be clearly written and identify a specific problem to be solved. Aim to narrow down the task as much as possible; for example, use "social media strategy" instead of "marketing strategy."
Be flexible to smoothly integrate into the educator’s experience. Educators may request adjustments to certain aspects of your project, such as deliverables and deadlines, to better align with their syllabus.
The educator will assess if a project meets the learning outcomes for their experience. Projects that offer learners the opportunity to learn and gain exposure to various areas of a business will be more appealing.
Be willing to make adjustments based on education level. Learners will be completing varying degrees (e.g., bachelor's, master's, or continuing education degrees). The work should be appropriate for their respective level of education.
