Public feedback templates
If you’re unsure how to structure your feedback, here are a few examples of how to write effective and professional public feedback depending on your experience with the team:
Positive feedback: “It was a pleasure working with [team name]. They demonstrated strong communication skills, professionalism, and creativity throughout the project. Their final deliverable exceeded expectations and provided real value to our organization. I would be happy to work with them again in the future.”
Constructive but positive feedback: “Working with [team name] was a good experience overall. They showed strong effort and enthusiasm, and their deliverables met most of our goals. With some additional focus on [specific area, e.g., time management or presentation skills], I’m confident they’ll continue to grow and produce even stronger results in future projects.”
Professional feedback for a negative experience: “While our project with [team name] faced some challenges, such as [briefly mention challenge, e.g., meeting deadlines or maintaining consistent communication], I appreciated their willingness to learn and adapt. Providing clearer communication and planning from the start would make future collaborations more effective."
These templates are optional but can help guide you in writing thoughtful, professional feedback that benefits both learners and future employers.
Endorsements
When providing feedback to the team, you can optionally choose to provide endorsements to any specific members of the team. These endorsements include:
A public comment
Any skills the learner demonstrated
These endorsements will show up on a learner's individual profile alongside their team feedback for the project and any skills tagged in the endorsement will be counted towards their verified skills list on their profiles.
Learners often use these endorsements as part of their online portfolios, resumes, and more, so make sure to give endorsements where they are warranted!
