Individuals participating in the TTBW program must meet specific eligibility criteria. As part of upholding our commitment to dispersing stipends that meet eligibility criteria, employers are required to verify their identity before engaging in projects.

Identity Verification for Companies and Employers

Before you can match with a learner team in the TTBW program you will be required to verify your identity and your business information.

As part of the sign up process you will be directed to our 3rd party Identification provider - Persona - to complete an identity and verification process.

To complete these steps you will be required to:

  • Verify your US registration including Employer Identification Number (EIN)

  • Verify the registered address of your business

  • Complete a personal identification process with a selfie and government issued ID

We recommend that you have these items available to you at sign up so that you can enter the program as smoothly as possible.

Third party provider

Riipen has partnered with a third party provider, Persona, to complete the verification process. Persona is GDPR and CCPA compliant, ensuring safe PII storage. You can read more about this on Persona's security page and in their blog on safe PII storage.

Riipen’s Commitment to Privacy

Riipen respects your privacy and is committed to protecting it through our compliance and privacy policy. You can read more about this in the following articles:
