  • I attest that I am a registered business in the United States with a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN).

  • I acknowledge that as a condition of this partnership, I must provide documented proof of being a registered business entity in the United States. This may include, but is not limited to, a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN), articles of incorporation, business license, or any other relevant documentation issued by the appropriate authorities.

  • I understand that as an employer, neither the company nor I am entitled to claim any payment from participants or to receive any monies paid to the participant in the form of a stipend.

Project Requirements

  • I understand that I must define the project scope up-front to the best of my ability, limiting changes once participants are approved for the project.

  • I understand that I must be available for a discussion with the Tech Talent Boost Washington Program team to initiate the relationship and confirm that the project scope is an appropriate fit for the placement/internship.

  • I understand that the project timelines must align with the Tech Talent Boost Washington program schedule. If the project end date must change, the participants must notify the Tech Talent Boost Washington team a minimum of 5 business days prior to the end date currently recorded in the platform.

  • I understand that employer projects starting between June 2024 and April 2025 must be completed within 4 weeks of project start and must align with the cohort schedules below.

    • Cohort One: June 15 2024 - September 30 2024

    • Cohort Two: October 1 2024 - December 31 2024

Participants cannot be invited directly by the employer.

  • I understand that I must provide a project that requires no more than 40 hours of work per participant. If more than 40 hours of work is required, the participants will not be able to complete the project under this program.

  • I understand that as the employer, I must make a good-faith effort to ensure that the project allows each of the 3-5 participants 40 hours of experience.

  • I understand that I must provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to the participants who are working on my project(s). I must be responsive to any questions, and check in on progress to help ensure a good result.

  • I understand that this program requires that participants receive at least 5 hours of mentorship throughout the project.

  • I understand that I must complete the Tech Talent Boost Washington Program exit survey and approve project deliverables submitted by the participants at the conclusion of the project. If I hire a participant at the completion of the project, I may be invited to complete a follow up survey about my experiences with Tech Talent Boost Washington.

  • I understand that participants of Tech Talent Boost Washington Program projects are engaged via Riipen Networks Inc., and as such, Riipen meets all Occupational and Health Standard requirements legislated by federal and state governments.

  • I acknowledge I must provide participants with all relevant information concerning health and safety standards and regulations with regard to their work environment to include any and all required safety equipment to complete their work. This must be completed within the first week of the project.

A project that is not completed will not be eligible for the stipend. Payment processing is not immediate. A stipend will begin to be processed when the employer provides feedback on a project submission and the participant exit survey has been received.

  • I understand that after the completion of the employer project, I will be invited to complete follow up surveys about my experiences with Tech Talent Boost Washington and my employment journey. I acknowledge that participation in this program requires a commitment to completing these surveys.

  • I understand that I will only work on one Tech Talent Boost Washington project and will only be paid for that one project once completed and in accordance with the statements above.
