2. Joining a Breaking Barriers with TELUS Friendly Future Foundation and Riipen experience

See the student landing page and complete the intake form. If you are eligible, you will be invited to join a Breaking Barriers experience on Riipen on November 17.

Upon accepting the invitation, you will need to create a Riipen account if you haven’t done so already. Visit our sign up page and hit “sign up” under Student. Use the same email address you used to apply to the program.

Riipen users are only permitted to have one account. If you already have an account, please sign in with your existing credentials. Do not create a new account, as this may prevent you from verifying your identity and accessing opportunities.

Once you create an account or have signed in, you can click on your user icon in the top right corner of the screen, click on your username, and hit “edit profile” to make yourself stand out to employers.

If you haven’t already done so, you will be prompted to verify your ID and Proof of Enrolment. Learn more here: Identity Verification

Once verified, return to the experience page from your dashboard. Carefully read through and sign the agreements to unlock projects.
