This article is for students who have submitted an application to join an open Riipen Labs cohort.

1. Create an account if you haven’t done so already. Visit our sign up page and hit “sign up” under Student. Use the same email address you used to apply to the program.
Riipen users are only permitted to have one account. If you already have an account, please sign in with your existing credentials. Do not create a new account, as this may prevent you from verifying your identity and accessing opportunities.
2. Once you create an account or have signed in, you can click on your user icon in the top right corner of the screen, click on your username, and hit “edit profile” to make yourself stand out to employers! Once you’re on the platform, you can apply to other programs where employers can browse your profile, so be ready!
3. If you are deemed eligible for the cohort, you will be invited to verify for the cohort. The verification period can be found in the cohort breakdown. Failure to verify within the timeframe will result in removal from the cohort. Learn more here: Identity Verification
4. If you verify within the verification period, you will receive a notification that you have been added to the project, per the dates on the cohort breakdown.
5. Once you’ve been added to the project, you will see this in your dashboard when you login. From the project page, you’ll see your next required steps. Make sure to sign the program agreements, set up payment account (if you haven’t already done so), and then - most importantly - click “Start project” to join your team conversation and indicate your project is underway.
