Employers must read and adhere to these agreements to participate in a Western Governors University (WGU) School of Business experience.
1. Project Timeline
Project timelines must align with the program timeline set by WGU on the Riipen platform.
I understand that I must define the project scope up front to the best of my abilities, limiting scope changes once learners are approved for the project.
I understand that the project timelines must be accurate before the project start date.
I understand that learners will not be expected to exceed the number of hours allocated per learner as outlined in the experience details or complete work for my company outside of what is defined in the project.
2. Project Requirements
No fees will be charged to learners, including for training or application licenses.
I agree to be available for discussions with the program administrator to confirm the appropriateness of my project.
I will be available for a project kick-off meeting and will use the platform’s chat feature to communicate with each learner team, providing regular check-ins and progress support.
Upon project completion, I will submit comprehensive feedback to learners within 5 business days, including an evaluation of their performance and review of the final project submissions.
I understand that I must complete the program exit survey and approve submitted deliverables at the conclusion of the project. I acknowledge that providing this feedback and completing the survey is a requirement of participation, and failure to do so may result in losing access to post future projects.
I confirm that I will work with up to five learners on this project, who will self-assign based on their skills and interests.
I understand that I am responsible for providing ongoing mentorship and guidance to the student(s), being responsive to questions, checking in on progress, and supplying any tools or resources needed to successfully complete the project.
I will evaluate students’ final project submissions within 5 business days, providing written feedback on the platform that can be used to enhance their resumes, LinkedIn profiles, and overall professional development.
3. Respectful Behaviour Agreement
I agree to:
Conduct myself with respect and professionalism at all times. This includes refraining from harassment, discrimination, hate speech, and abusive behaviour.
Understand that any violation of this agreement may result in immediate removal, suspension, or termination without notice.
Accept that Riipen’s determination of disrespectful conduct is final and binding.
Accept full responsibility for my conduct while using this platform.
