How to
Install Riipen in Moodle with LTI Advantage
To install Riipen as a LTI Advantage application in Moodle, follow all of these steps from inside of your Moodle instance.
Initial Setup
Navigate to "Site Administration > Plug Ins > External Tool > Manage Tools"
Select the option to configure a tool manually
Fill in the form with the following values:
Tool settings
Tool name: Riipen 1.3
Tool URL: https://app.riipen.com/ltia/launch
Tool description: The Riipen platform
LTI version: LTI 1.3
Public key type: Keyset URL
Public keyset: https://app.riipen.com/ltia/jwks
Initiate login URL: https://app.riipen.com/ltia/oidc
Redirection URI(s): https://app.riipen.com/ltia/launch
Tool configuration usage: "Show in activity chooser and as a preconfigured tool". If the above option is not available, select "Show as preconfigured tool when adding an external tool".
Default launch container: "New window"
Supports Deep Linking: Checked
Content Selection URL: https://app.riipen.com/ltia/launch
Icon URL and Secure icon URL (under "Show more"): https://app.riipen.com/favicon.ico

Click "Save changes"
After you save the tool, locate "Riipen" under "Manage Tools", and click the list icon (left of the gear icon) to reveal the Tool configuration details. Copy each of the values displayed here to later use.
Enable Moodle LTI Advantage integration in Riipen
The following steps can be completed by a portal administrator. Within your portal on Riipen:
Click "Settings" below the "Portal" group in the main navigation.
Select the "Integrations" tab.
Select the "LTI Advantage" option under the "Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI)" section.
Fill in all the fields with the appropriate values (see below)
Click "Submit" to finish enabling the integration.

Client ID | The Client ID from the tool you created. |
Deployment ID | The Deployment ID from the tool you created. |
Auth URL | https://yourmoodle.example.com/mod/lti/auth.php replacing "yourmoodle" with your site's subdomain. |
Access Token URL | The Access Token URL from the tool you created. |
Public Keyset URL | The Public Keyset URL from the tool you created. |
Disable the Moodle LTI Advantage integration in Riipen
Click "Settings" below the "Portal" group in the main navigation.
Select the "Integrations" tab.
Select the "LTI Advantage" option under the "Learning Tool Interoperability (LTI)" section.
Click on the "Delete" button to remove the integration.
Removing the portal level Moodle LTI Advantage integration will remove all Moodle LTI Advantage integrations for experiences within the portal.
