Departments are a great way to segment content such as experiences within your portal into different areas. Departments can be used to segment, visually differentiate, and help with reporting of content.
How to
Create a department
To create a department:
Click "Settings" under the "Portal" group in the main navigation.
Click the "Departments" tab under the "Features" group on the settings page.
Click the "Add department" button
Fill in the form and click "Submit" to save the department.
Edit a department
To edit a department:
Click "Settings" under the "Portal" group in the main navigation.
Click the "Portal" tab under the "General" group on the settings page.
Click the department you wish to edit.
Click the "Edit" button.
Fill in the form and click "Submit" to save the department.
Delete a department
To delete a department:
Click "Settings" under the "Portal" group in the main navigation.
Click the "Portal" tab under the "General" group on the settings page.
Click the department you wish to delete.
Click the "Delete" button.
Deleting a department will unlink it from all associated content.
Set an experience's department
To set an experience to a specific department:
Navigate to the experience of your choice
Click the edit icon
On the "Tags" step, set the department in the appropriate field
Click "Save"
