Updated over 3 months ago

As a portal administrator, you have the ability to customize your portal to better fit the brand and practices of your institution.

General

Subdomain

Every portal has a unique subdomain in the format {subdomain}.riipen.com. Your subdomain is configured as part of your institution's purchase of Riipen and can contain any case letters, numbers, and hyphens.

Profile

Your portal comes with its own profile which represents your institution to other users. The profile includes basic configurable information that's relevant for employers and learners such as name and location, while also containing activity of the portal such as experiences and feedback its educators have received.

Vocabulary

Across your portal's subdomain, you can use custom vocabulary. For example, you may want to change learner to student.

Words that can be customized are:

Vocabulary customizations will automatically work in any context, including when words should be capitalized, singular or plural.
