Getting Started with Level UP: Employers

A step-by-step guide designed to help employers join Level UP, post projects, and start connecting with Level UP students.

This guide will help both new and existing employers join and match their projects with the latest Level UP cycle. Refer to the side panel to navigate to instructions tailored for new employers, existing employers, or video tutorials.

For new employers:

1. Find out if you’re eligible for Level UP by hitting “Join Now” on our landing page.

2. If eligible, create an account with Riipen as an Employer with the same email you used in the eligibility form. When completed, you can create a project if you’re ready, or exit the page. If you already have an account, sign in.

3. Apply for a portal pass with Level UP by hitting “Request Portal Pass”.

  • Ensure that you answer all Portal Pass questions and write “N/A” if the question does not apply to you.

4. Click on the current cycle of Level UP available and hit “Request Match”.

5. Complete company verification.

6. Once verified, hit "Request Match" and create or select an existing project that you’re looking to post for Level UP student applications. Each company is limited to 2 projects, with up to 5 students each.

7. Sign the agreements and accept the match request on your end.

8. Your project will either be approved by us within 5 business days, or you may be asked to make necessary edits to meet our standards.

9. Once approved by our team, your project will be open to student applications. If a student applies to your project, it will appear on your dashboard.

10. Review applications and either accept or decline using the ✔ or X beside each application.

For existing employers:

Fill out the eligibility form.

  1. Log in to your Riipen account. Apply for a portal pass with Level UP by hitting “Request Portal Pass”.

    • Ensure that you answer all Portal Pass questions and write “N/A” if the question does not apply to you.

  2. Click on the current cycle of Level UP available and hit “Request Match” using an existing or new project.

  3. Complete company verification if prompted.

  4. Sign the agreements and accept the match request on your end.

  5. Your project will either be approved by us within 5 business days, or you may be asked to make necessary edits to meet our standards.

  6. Once approved by our team, your project will be open to student applications. If a student applies to your project, it will appear on your dashboard.

  7. Review applications and either accept or decline using the ✔ or X beside each application. When reviewing applications, remember you'll collaborate with the successful student. Aim for a fit with your project goals and working style.
