What is a cohort?

A cohort refers to a group of learners participating in a specific term of the Skills for the future with IBM SkillsBuild and Riipen program. Each cohort operates within set dates, during which learners engage with employer projects. This structure allows for organized timelines and ensures learners and employers can collaborate effectively. Learners and employers must apply to participate in each cohort.

Projects will start and end on the following dates for the five cohorts:

  • Cohort 1: August 25 - October 18, 2025

  • Cohort 2: September 22 - November 15, 2025

  • Cohort 3: October 20 - December 13, 2025

  • Cohort 4: November 17 - January 10, 2025

  • Cohort 5: December 15 - February 7, 2025

Dates and cohort availability are subject to change.
