Riipen Labs students that successfully complete their 15 hour projects are eligible for a payment of $300. Riipen will release the funds, which will be deposited directly into your bank account.
Creating a payment account
Once your project application is accepted, a "Setup payment account" task will appear on your team page, prompting you to set up your bank account.
You will need the following information:
Bank account information
Your bank's branch address (you can google this)
Your SIN number
Government issued ID
Editing a payment account
If you ever need to change information associated with a payment account such as banking information, you can:
Click your user avatar in the top navigation bar
From the dropdown, choose “Payments”
Navigate to the “Account” tab
Click the pencil icon on the far right side of the screen
You’ll be redirected to sign in to Stripe to see your account details
Follow the on-screen prompts to complete your updates
Always ensure your payment account information is up to date as you will be unable to receive payments otherwise.
Viewing payments for a team
To view all payments for yourself for work completed as part of a particular team:
Navigate to the Team page
Click on the "Invoices" tab
Select any listed invoice
You’ll see the details of your compensation for work completed within the team and the associated payments.

Viewing all payments
To view all payments for yourself:
Click your user avatar in the top navigation bar.
From the dropdown, choose “Payments”
From the menu in your Payments dashboard, select "Payments".
Payment process
All payments for Riipen Labs will be processed per the cohort breakdown. Payment will be reviewed by the Riipen Labs team once each team member has provided feedback on a project submission, student exit survey has been received, and the interview has been completed.
