Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for a stipend, learners must complete the following actions within the Riipen platform:
Log 20 working hours (for CAPM, Additive & Solar ) or 40 working hours (for PMP only) on your projects (depending on project requirements)
Submit your final project deliverable
Input and double-check your payment details
Provide feedback to your employer on your project experience
Receive feedback from your employer on your project deliverables
Complete the exit survey located in your project portal
Payment Timeline
UC Merced PACE SkillRISE program operates on a 21-day payout period for learners completing employer projects. Stipends will be processed within 21 days once all eligibility requirements listed above have been met.
Tax Reporting
Stipend payments are considered taxable income. Learners are responsible for reporting their stipend payments when filing income taxes. For information on required tax documents and how to report your stipend, please review the following resources:
