Reviewing and accepting an imported project

What to expect when an experience admin creates and imports a project for you on Riipen

Updated yesterday

If you do not yet have a Riipen account, an experience admin can create and import a project on your behalf. This allows you to start working with learners without needing to set up your account or project manually. Most of the setup is completed for you. You only need to activate your account and review the project before it becomes active. This process reduces setup time and ensures your project is ready to go as soon as you log in.

  • Get started without creating a project from scratch

  • Access a fully set up project and company profile

  • Begin collaborating with learners faster

What is created for you

Before you log in, the experience admin has already completed the setup required for you to begin.

This includes:

  • A Riipen account created using your email address

  • A company profile linked to your account

  • A project created and ready for review

  • A confirmed match between your project and an experience

  • Access to the associated portal

You will receive an email from Riipen prompting you to finish setting up your account.

How to

Set up your account and access your project

You must activate your account before you can view and manage your project.

  1. Open the email with the subject line “Riipen account created”

  2. Click Set password

  3. Create your password

  4. Review and accept the Terms of Service

Access your project

  1. From your dashboard, navigate to My Projects

  2. Select your project

Review and accept your imported project

Imported projects are already published and matched with an experience before you review them. However, they are labeled as imported until you accept them.

  1. Open your project

  2. Click Review Import in the top right corner

  3. Select both of the following:

    • Accept project for company

    • Accept my membership to project

Both actions are required to remove the imported label from your project. Until completed, the project will remain marked as imported.

What happens after you accept

Once you complete both acceptance steps, the imported label is removed from your project.

At this point, you will have:

  • An active Riipen account

  • A company profile

  • A live project

  • A confirmed match with an experience

  • Access to the associated portal

You can now fully manage your project as your own and collaborate with learners.

FAQs

Is my project live before I accept it?

Yes. Your project is already published and matched with an experience before you accept it. Accepting the project removes the imported label and confirms your ownership.

Do I need to create a company or project myself?

No. The experience admin completes this setup for you so you can focus on reviewing and managing your project.
