Portal reports

An overview of portal-level reporting on Riipen

Portal reports give you a complete view of activity and outcomes across your portal — all in one place. Instead of relying on external dashboards or disconnected tools, you can now access all reporting directly from the Reports tab in your portal's main navigation menu.

Use portal reports to monitor engagement, track matchmaking activity, understand learner outcomes, and explore the data most relevant to your program.

Main benefits of portal reports:

  • All portal reporting accessible in one place, directly within the platform

  • Flexible filtering to slice data by the dimensions most relevant to your portal

  • Drill-down functionality to view and export raw underlying data

  • Experience-level reports available for a closer look at individual experiences

General

Available reports

Portal reports are organized into the following tabs:

  • General — a high-level overview of key metrics across your portal, including published experiences, matched projects, completed learner experiences, companies, users, and more

  • Experiences — reporting scoped to the experiences running within your portal

  • Outcomes — data on learner and project outcomes across your portal

  • Feedback — aggregated feedback submitted across your portal's experiences

  • Matchmaking — data on match requests, project matching activity, and marketplace engagement

  • Projects — reporting on the projects matched within your portal

  • Companies — data on the companies participating in your portal

  • Marketplace — visibility into marketplace activity and engagement

  • Users — reporting on the users active within your portal

Filtering

Most reports include filtering options so you can focus on the data most relevant to your program. Filters vary by report and allow you to slice data by dimensions such as experience, date range, status, and more.

Drill-down and export

Several reports support drill-down functionality. Clicking into a report card opens the underlying raw data, which can be viewed in the platform or exported as a CSV file.

Access and permissions

Portal reports are a premium feature — your portal must have reporting enabled to access this tab. Access is granted on a per-role basis, meaning users must have a role with the Reporting permission enabled to view reports.

To grant a user access to portal reports, follow the Roles guide on creating and administering roles.
