Commitments for educators using Riipen.

Updated over 3 months ago

Educators using Riipen are expected to uphold the following commitments to ensure a productive and efficient experience for all stakeholders involved.

Commitments to working with employers

  1. Timely Application Response:
Educators will review and respond to employer match requests within two weeks of receiving them, either accepting or declining the request. If additional time is required, educators will communicate and mutually agree on an extended timeline with the employer.

  2. Project Scope and Expectations:
Educators will work with employers to refine or adjust the project scope as needed to ensure it aligns with learning objectives and learner capabilities. This collaborative process ensures that both the educator and employer are clear on the deliverables and timelines for the project.

  3. Communication Expectations:
Educators will discuss and establish clear expectations regarding the frequency and preferred methods of communication between the employer and learners.

Commitments to working with learners

  1. Onboarding Support: Educators will support their learners’ success by providing onboarding information at least two weeks in advance. This ensures that learners have adequate time to familiarize themselves with Riipen, understand the project requirements, and are prepared for successful collaboration.

  2. Clear Communication of Expectations:
Educators will clearly communicate their expectations and timelines to their learners. This includes outlining the roles and responsibilities related to project work, interaction with employers, and the submission of deliverables.

  3. Learner Instructions:
Educators will instruct learners to establish contact with their assigned employers within one week of the project start date to ensure prompt communication and a smooth collaboration process.

  4. Submission of Deliverables:
Educators will ensure that learners submit their deliverables through Riipen by the specified due dates.

  5. Resolving Issues:
Educators will promptly address and resolve any issues brought to their attention by learners or employers. This includes mediating conflicts, clarifying expectations, and ensuring that both parties are supported in their collaboration.
