Essential articles to understand the user journey for learners

Updated over a week ago

As a learner, you start by joining an "experience" that is created by your educator or program administrator. Through the experience, the administrators will have connected with employers and curated a list of real projects that can be completed by you for academic credit, or as extracurricular activities.

How to

Join an experience

As a learner, your first step is to join an experience and review the projects available.

There are two primary methods of joining an experience:

  • Joining via access code

  • Joining via an invitation

See our gull guide here on how to join via these methods.

Starting a project

Projects are created by employers seeking to work with learners who are a member of an experience. A project outlines a real-world problem or an area of opportunity for a company that learners can address. This allows you to gain real work experience that you include on your resume and showcase to future employers.
