When you join Riipen, you will be prompted to create a company as part of your employer sign up process. However, your company may already be on Riipen or you may wish to create a second company on Riipen which you are also an employee of. As an employer, you can be a member of many different companies within Riipen.
Request to join
If others from your organization have already signed up and created a company, you won't be able to create a new company under the same name. In this case, follow the steps below.
Search companies for your company name.
Click "Request to join"
This sends a the administrators of the company a request for you to become a member of the company.
Join by invitation
A colleague can invite you to the company via email. In this case, you'll receive an email from firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject "You're invited" and will sign up through the link in that email. You can also accept the invitation through the same link if you already have an account.
A company can enable a magic link to allow new members to join. If you're given this link, simply click the link and complete the sign up form to automatically become a member of the company.
Create a company
If you're the first from your company to join Riipen, you'll create a company as part of the sign up process. Your company profile includes a logo, company name, website, and location. Those mandatory fields help the Riipen team validate your organization is real and help educators determine if the business is one they're interested in working with.
If you missed this at sign up, or you wish to create a secondary company you are an employee of, you can create a new company by:
Open the user menu in the navigation bar
Click "Switch workspace"
Click "Create a new company"
After creation, you will be the first member of the new company on Riipen.
