Customizing email notifications sent by a portal or any experience within the portal

Portals can customize the content of email notifications which are sent to its various stakeholders. This can be helpful when needing to provide portal specific details, instructions, or just general context at the time of the notification.

Customizing notifications

To customize an email notification for a portal:

  1. Click "Settings" below the "Portal" group in the main navigation.

  2. Click on any of the "Notifications" tabs in any of the groups of the available settings.

Each available notification is separated into its respective group in the portal settings, so be sure to check out each group to customize any of the available email notifications.

Now simply add the content you wish to add to a particular notification. Notifications available to customize are:

Experiences

A team has applied to a match

A match has been confirmed for a project *

A submission has been created for a project *

  • match.id

  • team.id

  • user.id

*By setting any of these customizations, any experience-level customization to these same notifications will be overwritten by this portal wide customization.

Now simply click "Submit" to finish customizing and your content will be saved.
