Joining AKITO & Riipen for learners

Resource to understand the Riipen user journey for learners

  1. See our landing page and complete the application form. If you are eligible, you will be invited to join the experience on Riipen on June 15, 2026.

  2. Create an account if you haven’t done so already. Visit our sign up page and hit “Sign up” under Learner. Use the same email address you used to apply to the program.

    Riipen users are only permitted to have one account. If you already have an account, please sign in with your existing credentials. Do not create a new account, as this may prevent you from verifying your identity and accessing opportunities.

  3. Once you create an account or have signed in, you can click on your user icon in the top right corner of the screen, click on your username, and hit “edit profile” to make yourself stand out to employers.

  4. If accepted into the program, you will receive an invitation via email from team@riipen.com to join the experience on June 15, 2026. Accept the invite.

  5. Once verified, return to the experience page from your dashboard.

  6. Once you are in, you will apply to projects between June 15 - 30, 2026. Projects will start before July 13th.

    1. To apply, click on the Akito assessment link included in each project description. This unique link will ask a few questions to assess your compatibility. You'll be assigned to a project based on your results. Apply to as many projects as you'd like to increase your chances of being assigned to a project.
