Note: You must be invited into a Riipen Labs cohort to complete a project. If you haven't already, we encourage you to visit our website to submit your application or submit your interest for an upcoming cohort. Learn more here: 1. How to Apply for Riipen Labs.
Students must follow milestones and deadlines throughout the project to avoid an “incomplete” team state. There will be no granting of extensions for missed milestones.
Students are required to log their 15 hours of work using the worklog feature. Worklog entries must include both time spent on project work, as well as meetings with team members and time spent on reflections. Submissions may not be longer than 7 hours per week, to ensure the time is stretched amongst the length of the 3-week cohort. Please refer to this help article for more information on how to provide sufficient work-logs.
Throughout the project, you will be prompted to complete milestones at each step. If a milestone is missed, your project will be deemed incomplete and you will be unable to continue. You can only submit your final deliverable if your team is in an active state, so ensure that you are staying on track throughout the entirety of your project.
Look to the Guide to Riipen Labs Final Deliverables for more information on what is expected as you complete your project.
Projects for this cohort will be completed and payments issued per the cohort breakdown. Payment will be reviewed by the Riipen Labs team once all submissions have been submitted as required. If more information is required from students in order to complete payment, students have 30 days to provide that information, otherwise they will be deemed ineligible for payment.
