How to manage your password

Your password is never accessible to anyone else, including Riipen staff. Don't share your password with anyone else. Riipen support staff will never ask you for your password.

Requirements

Passwords must meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of eight characters

  • Contain at least one letter

  • Contain at least one number

Password-less single sign on

If you created an account through a single sign on partner such as Google, LinkedIn or a Learning Management System, you won't have a direct password for your account. However, you may need one in order to perform secure actions, such as deleting or merging an account. To create a password for your account when you don't know the current one, follow the "reset my password when no logged in" instructions below.

Reset my password when not logged in

To reset your password without being logged in:

  1. Visit the reset your password page

  2. Fill in your email address and click "Submit"

You'll receive an email with a link to a reset your password. If you don't receive this email in your inbox or spam folder, it's likely that your account is linked to a different email address.

Reset my password when logged in

If you want to change your password while you are already logged in:

  1. Click on your user avatar in the top navigation bar and select "Settings"

  2. Click the "Password & authentication" tab in the "Security" group

  3. Fill in the "Change Password" form and click "Submit".

You will need to know you current password to perform this action. If you do not know your current password, you can follow our forgot password workflow.
