As an employer, you may be involved with multiple organizations that use Riipen and thus may be a member of many companies. While Riipen supports users being a member of an unlimited number of companies, you can only have one active in your navigation at a time. This active company is your current "workspace".

Any actions you take within Riipen will be associated within this active company including creating projects.

Furthermore, that active company many have zero or many portal passes to different portals across Riipen. Similarly to your active company, you may only have one (or no) active portal selected at a time. Combined with your active company, this active portal also forms your current workspace.

Changing workspaces

Changing companies

  1. Click on your company name in the main navigation.

  2. You will see a list of your companies. Only one company will be listed if you only have one company on Riipen. You may also choose to create a new company by clicking "Create new".

When you switch your active company what you see throughout Riipen will then be filtered to that selected company including the content you see in your dashboard and the options in your main navigation.

Changing portals

This is only available if your active company has at least one portal pass.

  1. Click on the Riipen logo in the top navigation bar.

  2. Select the portal you would like to switch to.

When you switch your active portal, you will be redirected to that portal's subdomain, and what you see throughout Riipen will then be filtered to that selected portal including the content you see in your dashboard and the options in your main navigation. Any customized branding the portal has set will also be applied to your navigation which may include logo changes, color changes, terminology changes and more.
