Two-sided application acceptance allows learners to confirm or cancel their applications once an employer accepts it. This prevents teams from being accepted into multiple projects they cannot accommodate and ensures employers are informed of the team's decision to work with their company.

Enabling two-sided acceptance

Experience administrators can enable or disable two-sided application acceptance through their experience settings. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your experience settings.

  2. Click on the "Teams" tab and scroll down to the "Team Creation" section.

  3. Select "Learners apply, and employers accept or decline their applications" to enable team applications to projects.

  4. Check the "Enable two-sided acceptance of applications" checkbox.

  5. You may enter an application due date or leave it blank if there is no due date.

  6. Enter the number of days after which applications should expire, or leave it blank if you don't want applications to expire.

  7. Enter the number of days learners have to confirm or cancel accepted applications, or leave it blank if there is no deadline.

Two-sided acceptance from the learners perspective

Learner teams receive email and platform notifications when an employer accepts their application to work on a company project.

If two-sided acceptance is enabled on an experience, learner teams will also be prompted to confirm or cancel their application.
