Competencies, or soft skills, are part of any great learning outcome tracking. You can set up competencies at your portal to be automatically added to any new experience which will be evaluated by employers as part of a team's feedback at the end of any project.
General
Defaults
Every portal will come equipped with the default competencies of:
Creativity
Critical Thinking
Communication
Professionalism
You can modify these competencies at any time.
States
A competency can be one one of two state:
Active - any active competency will automatically be added to an experience when it is created inside the portal and linked back to the original portal competency for data tracking purposes.
Retired - any retired competency will not be added to an experience when it is created, but it's data still remains available to be seen for portal administrators.
Ratings
When a team of learners complete a project within your portal, the employer will provide them with feedback. As part of that feedback, the list of competencies associated with that experience will be presented to the employer to be rated. If those experience's competencies are tied to the portal competencies, the ratings will be visible from the portal competency page once they are published.
