Within Riipen, you can easily change your email, add secondary emails, and otherwise manage any email address associated with your account at any time.
General
Multiple email addresses
Your account will have a primary email address associated with it, but you can also choose to add up to 5 secondary email addresses.
Your primary email address will be used to receive email notifications.
Any secondary email address can be used to log in to your account with your existing password.
Confirmation
When you sign up or add a secondary email address, you will receive a confirmation email sent to the email address you provide. You must click the link in the provided email to confirm the email address.
Unconfirmed email addresses will be prevented from taking certain actions.
How to
Add an email address
To add an email address:
Click on your user avatar in the top navigation bar and select "Settings"
Click the "Emails" tab in the "Security" group
Fill in the "Add Email" form and click "Submit"
You will need to be able to provide your password to add a secondary email.
Once added, the email will be linked to your account, but you will need to confirm the email address by clicking the link in the email that is sent to you, before you can use it to login or use it as your primary email address.
Change your primary email address
To set a secondary email address as your primary email address:
Click on your user avatar in the top navigation bar and select "Settings"
Click the "Emails" tab in the "Security" group
Click the star icon next to the email you wish make your primary
Your secondary email must be confirmed before it can be made into your primary.
Resend a confirmation email
To resend the confirmation email on any of your unconfirmed email address:
Click on your user avatar in the top navigation bar and select "Settings"
Click the "Emails" tab in the "Security" group
Click the mail icon next to the email
Delete an email address
To delete an email address:
Click on your user avatar in the top navigation bar and select "Settings"
Click the "Emails" tab in the "Security" group
Click the trash icon next to the email you wish to delete
You cannot delete your primary email address.
