All participants of the Skills Lab program must read and abide by the terms and conditions listed below.
Eligibility
I attest that I am either a not-for-profit employer, public sector employer (post-secondary institution), or private sector employer.
I attest that I am located in the United States.
I attest that I am a registered business in the United States with a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN).
I acknowledge that as a condition of this partnership, I must provide documented proof of being a registered business entity in the United States. This may include, but is not limited to, a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN), articles of incorporation, business license, or any other relevant documentation issued by the appropriate authorities.
I understand and attest that neither the company nor I can charge participants any form of payment to participate in the project and shall not directly profit from their participation.
I understand that as an employer, neither the company nor I am entitled to claim any payment from participants or to receive any monies paid to the participants in the form of a stipend.
I confirm that I have an intention to hire participants in remote entry-level and/or early-career technology positions upon successful completion of the program, allowing them to work from Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Project Requirements
I understand that I must define the project scope up-front to the best of my ability, limiting changes once participants are approved for the project.
I understand that I must be available for a discussion with the Skills Lab program team to initiate the relationship and confirm that the project scope is an appropriate fit for the program.
I understand that the project timelines must align with the Skills Lab program schedule. If the project end date must change, the participants must notify the Skills Lab team a minimum of five business days prior to the end date currently recorded in the platform.
Employer projects are 50 hours of work per participant completed in four to eight weeks. Participant and employer exit surveys and employer feedback must also be submitted within two weeks of project completion.
I understand I will be matched with a team of three to five Tulsa Community College participants to work on my project. The stipends can be granted to eligible participants selected to participate by Skills Lab, and all participants must come through the Riipen platform under the program. Participants cannot be invited directly by the employer.
I understand that I must provide a project that requires no more than 50 hours of work per participant. If more than 50 hours of work is required, the participants will not be able to complete the project under this program.
I understand that as the employer, I must make a good faith effort to ensure that the project allows each of the three to five participants 50 hours of experience.
I understand that I must provide ongoing mentorship and guidance to the participants who are working on my project(s). I must be responsive to any questions, and check in on progress to help ensure a good result.
I understand that this program requires that participants receive at least five hours of mentorship throughout the project with suggested weekly 30-to-60-minute meetings.
Upon completion of the project, I will confirm with the Skills Lab program team that each participant has completed 50 hours of work within four to eight weeks by providing comprehensive feedback on the platform.
I understand that I must complete the Skills Lab program exit survey, and approve project deliverables submitted by the participants at the conclusion of the project. If I hire a participant at the completion of the project, I will inform Tulsa Community College via email, and I may be invited to complete a follow-up survey about my experiences with the Skills Lab program.
I acknowledge that participation in this program requires a commitment to completing these surveys, and failure to do so may result in my inability to post new projects.
I understand that participants of the Skills Lab program are engaged via Riipen Networks Inc., and as such, Riipen meets all Occupational and Health Standard (OSHA) requirements legislated by federal and state governments.
I acknowledge I must provide participants with all relevant information concerning health and safety standards and regulations with regard to their work environment to include any and all required safety equipment to complete their work. This must be completed within the first week of the project.
The Skills Lab program is offered by Riipen in partnership with Tulsa Community College. I understand that as part of the initiative, Tulsa Community College would like to have the opportunity to check in with me periodically to ask some follow-up questions and to provide information about future opportunities. To that end, I agree to engage in follow-up sessions.

I am solely responsible for my actions and behaviors while using this service, and I understand that I must adhere to this agreement to continue using the service.
I hereby declare and acknowledge that I have read and understood the above terms and conditions. I confirm my adherence and full compliance with this agreement.
